Asenware's advanced fire hoses are made from polymeric materials such as polyurethane. Fire hoses have metal fittings on both ends that can be connected to another hose to extend the distance or to a nozzle to increase the liquid injection pressure.

Maintenance of fire hose

  • storage. A special storage location or storage room should be set up. The long-term storage spare hose should be stored in a place with suitable temperature and ventilation. The hose should be rolled up in a single layer and placed on the hose rack, and it should be turned twice a year or exchanged and folded once a year. The car hoses should avoid friction with each other, and if necessary, exchange the folds.
  • usage. When laying, avoid sudden twists and turns, avoid forcibly dragging on the ground after filling with water, and avoid contact with corrosive chemicals such as oil, acid, and alkali; in areas where there may be flames or strong radiant heat, cotton or linen water should be used. Belt; when laying the water belt, the water belt should be hooked; when passing through the railway, it should be passed under the rails, and when passing the road, the water belt should be cushioned to protect the bridge; prevent the water belt from contacting with hard objects with edges and corners, and do not use it when demolishing buildings. Throw wooden boards, steel parts and other items on the water belt; the water belt should be cleaned after use; the lining water belt should be used for laying the water belt outside the building in cold areas.
  • patching. If a loophole is found during use, it should be wrapped with a cloth in time to avoid the expansion of the small hole, and mark it, and repair it in time after use. Usually should be checked frequently, found damaged, and repaired in time.

When using fire hoses, pay attention to:

  • Sudden twists and turns should be avoided when laying to prevent the ability to withstand water pressure; twisting should also be avoided to prevent the hose from turning and disengaging the inner buckle hose interface after being filled with water.
  • After filling with water, you should avoid forcibly dragging on the ground. When you need to change the position, you should try to lift and move it to reduce the wear of the water belt and the ground.
  • Contact with corrosive chemicals such as oil, acid and alkali should be avoided.
  • Cotton or linen hoses should be used in areas where there may be flames or strong radiant heat.
  • After use, it should be cleaned, and the unlined hose should be hung in the sun. After drying, the coil should be stored in a cool and dry place.
  • If there is any broken hole during use, wrap it tightly with a water hose, and darn or glue it as soon as possible afterward; when there is obvious damage, you should immediately withdraw from combat readiness.
  • When the vehicle needs to pass through the water belt being laid, the water belt protection bridge should be installed in the passing part in advance.
  • If it is necessary to pass the railway when laying, it should pass under the rail.
  • Lining hoses should be used on the exterior of buildings in cold regions to prevent the hoses from freezing.
